Menumat is a Finnish food service company operating in most of Finland. Our customer base is constantly growing and we are constantly developing to become the most sought-after catering service in Finland – both at home and in places where people enjoy a meal together.
Menumat is a story of Finnish perseverance and belief in a good idea. The first version of our home meal service device saw daylight back in 1992. A few years later, the device went into production and the service quickly gained it’s first 500 customers. In 2009, Finnish private equity investors came on board and ensured that the new device and the service business based on it got off to a good start.
For us, the customer is at the centre of everything and the starting point for our business. We provide a humane and reliable service and improve people’s quality of life. We offer freedom of choice with quality and tasty food. We want to be an important part of our customers’ daily good nutrition. We constantly collect feedback and listen to our customers’ wishes, needs and ideas with a keen ear.
Meals made in Finland
Our meals are prepared in Finland and we use as many Finnish ingredients as possible, depending on availability. Our food follows the taste preferences of Finns and takes into account our national food tradition. Our meals are nutritionally balanced and we take into account the most common special diets. “It’s like home-made food” is the feedback we often hear from our customers.
Currently, our meals are produced by two domestic companies, Kruunu Herkku Oy (Juva) and Evertaste Oy (Vantaa).
